About Me
Hi, I'm Auston. I recently graduated from Case Western Reserve University with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering, where I was honored to receive the Anish Shah '91 Award, recognizing an outstanding senior based on academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, and community service.
Engineering Philosophy
What excites me most about engineering is the opportunity to solve interesting problems that make a meaningful impact. I enjoy working on projects across a wide range of disciplines—from medical devices and robotics to motorsports and precision manufacturing. Every new challenge is an opportunity to learn something new, collaborate with talented people, and transform an idea into a functional piece of hardware.
Beyond Engineering
Outside of engineering, you'll usually find me in the machine shop, woodworking, playing golf, or spending time at the beach. I enjoy building things simply for the challenge and satisfaction of learning, whether it's a custom CNC project, a piece of furniture, or something entirely new. I'm always looking for opportunities to grow my skills, explore new ideas, and make a positive impact through the work I do.
